Authentication

We authenticate every lot before it goes live — no “trust me” listings. If you need a second opinion, email support@godspeedoutlet.com.

Photo-first evidence Construction & labels Disclosure always
What we check
  • Labels & prints: tag sets, wash tags, typography, placement, inside/outside branding.
  • Construction: stitching density, seam finishing, binding, tape, reinforcement points.
  • Hardware: zips, snaps, rivets, pullers, engravings, finishes and wear.
  • Fit & measures: consistent grading, key measurements, shrink/stress indicators.
  • Condition: stains, holes, fading, cracking, repairs — always disclosed.

We keep it practical: evidence over jargon, and clear photos you can judge yourself.

What “authenticated” means

Authenticated = we’re confident the item matches known genuine references for the model/era, and we’re comfortable standing behind it.

Not authenticated = we decline the lot. If something looks off, it doesn’t go live.

Condition notes are separate: authentic items can still be worn — we’ll tell you exactly how.

Our workflow
01 / Intake

We log the lot, inspect high‑risk areas first (tags, seams, hardware), then photograph details in consistent lighting.

02 / Reference check

We compare against known references: tag sets, print alignment, construction patterns, and era‑specific tells.

03 / Publish or decline

If it clears, we publish with condition notes. If it doesn’t, it’s rejected — simple as that.

Need verification help?

If you want us to review your item, send:

  • Full front/back + closeups of tags and hardware
  • Any serial/production codes (if present)
  • Your best guess of model/year (optional)

Email support@godspeedoutlet.com and we’ll tell you exactly what photos we need for a review.

We’d rather say “no” than sell you uncertainty.
